The RT-100 ABC Infrared Temperature Scanner
is a non-contact temperature display and control system for
manufacturers of high emissivity web products. A 17" SVGA
color monitor displays the cross web profile and down web trend
of any web width. An Allen Bradley PLC drives a rotary positioner
directing the infrared sensor back and forth across the web.
Temperatures are measured and stored for each increment of cross
web position. This data is then used to calculate average,
maximum, minimum and range values. The temperature data is then
graphically displayed on the video monitor. Calculated values are
displayed in text form at the right hand side of the screen.
Operator interface is provided through a HULA pointing device.
Customers may connect this system to existing Data Highway Plus
network. Also, systems provide extra rack space and processor
memory for customer expansion.
Features;
Continuous non-contact cross web temperature
scanning allows operators to view temperature profile
graphically. Text display of Average, Maximum, Minimum,
and Range of web temperature.Size and color of display
allows operator to see profile from 50ft or more.
-
Allen-Bradley SLC 5/04 PLC (optional SLC
5/05 w/ ethernet capabilities) enables customer to alter
and expand system at will. Extra rack space and
programming memory is available for expansion.
-
Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus port enables
customers to connect PLC to existing DataHighway network
permitting communication with other PLCs and MMI
stations.
- .
Optional PLC's; A-B PLC520E, SLC 5/04, SLC
5/05, Siemens 545, GE 9030.
Thermopile Infrared Sensor enables accurate
temperature measurment without influence of product color
changes.
-
